  • Theatre Vacancies

    There are a wide range of exciting roles within our Theatres, including front of house, back stage/technical, bars, box office and management.  

    Rolling recruitment takes place for Front of House - Ushers, Bars and Technical Stage Crew and this is handled directly by each Theatre.     • Casual Front of House and Bar Staff - London Palladium

      We are seeking casual members of staff to join the bar and Front of House team at the iconic London Palladium.

      The theatre is hosting a busy timetable of high-profile concerts and variety acts throughout the remainder of 2017 including Scouting for Girls, Alison Moyet, Beverley Knight, Grayson Perry, Michael McIntyre and an enchanting new production of Dick Whittington produced by Qdos Entertainment, the world’s biggest pantomime producer, and the team behind last year’s record-breaking Cinderella.

      We are looking for staff who enjoy working in a fast-paced environment and who are able to provide world class customer service to the wide variety of audiences visiting the London Palladium this year.

      Experience working on a bar would be advantageous as well as a willingness to get involved with all aspects of the operation.

    • Visitor Experience Assistant - The Other Palace

      About Us

      The Other Palace is the newest addition to The Really Useful Theatres Group. Situated less than 100 yards from Buckingham Palace, The Other Palace opened its doors in February of this year, and is a home and breeding ground for musicals at various stages of development.

      The Other Palace Main House programme consists of full productions, work in progress productions and festivals of new work. The studio also offers a diverse programme including cabaret, music and musical theatre.

      Role

      As a member of the team you will have a role to play in making every visitor’s experience a memorable one. We are looking for hard-working, enthusiastic and committed individuals to join us.

      This is a multi-skilled front-line role that involves the operation of our Bars, Front of House area, Auditorium and Box Office.

      Responsibilities include sales and data management, handling ticket sales and reservations for future shows using our in house ticketing system, offer a charming experience at one of our bars, to usher inside the auditorium, looking after visitors and audiences, delivering excellent customer service and ensuring that the theatre is always welcoming and at its best.

    • Technician - The Other Palace

      The Other Palace Theatre is looking for an experienced, responsible and proactive technician to join our multi-disciplined technical team.

      The Other Palace is a creative hub for all things musical theatre, from providing spaces to develop and workshop new ideas to presenting full scale productions.

      The successful applicant will have training in Live Sound Engineering and experience of Theatre Lighting, with an excellent knowledge of up to date technologies and practices.

      You will be expected to work primarily evenings and weekends.

    • Deputy Master Carpenter – London Palladium

      We have an exciting opportunity for a talented Deputy Master Carpenter to join the team at the iconic London Palladium.

      The theatre plays host to a busy and varied programme of high-profile concerts and variety acts. Recent events include The Royal Variety Show, the Best FIFA Football Awards 2017, Beverley Knight and Michael McIntyre.

      Pantomime returns to the Palladium for Christmas 2017 with an enchanting new production of Dick Whittington produced by Qdos Entertainment, the world’s biggest pantomime producer, and the team behind last year’s smash-hit Cinderella.

      The successful candidate will support and deputise for the Master Carpenter in ensuring the safe and smooth running of the Stage Department, ensuring the highest technical and safety standards are met and maintained. The successful candidate will have experience in a similar position, with excellent technical knowledge and the ability to lead a team.

      Experience of working in a busy theatre or live entertainment environment is essential.

    The head office team is based at the Theatre Royal, Drury Lane and provide dedicated support to all our Theatres. Roles at head office may include IT, Finance, Programming, HR, Operations, Works and Hospitality.
